Drumming by design
The Designer Series is more than a drum series – it is a concept
to meet the highest demands of today's professional musicians.
Drummers want instruments with excellent sound quality, high reliability
and flawless design. At the same time every drum set has to meet
specific requirements for different kinds of musical styles.
The Sonor Designer Series meets all these demands and more. Since
1875 Sonor has been famous for making state-of-the-art instruments
by combining solid craftsmanship with modern technology. As with
series such as Signature, Hilite and Force, the Designer Series
is a fine example of Sonor's commitment to quality and detail.
From styling to design
At the basis of this commitment is an international design team
that works out the guidelines for every step of the production
process for both drums and hardware. One crucial decision of the
design team during the development of the Designer Series was:
Give the drummer the highest possible flexibility to decide how
his drum set is designed. This concerns all aspects such as choice
of material, drum shell dimensions and fittings, finish and hardware.
